College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Jhang

The College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Jhang (CVAS, Jhang), Sub-grounds of University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore is situated in Jhang, Pakistan, was built up in 2006 is an activity for veterinary instruction under extraordinary thought of Lt. Gen. (Rtd) Khalid Maqbool (Governor Punjab) Chancellor, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Lahore. The originator Principal of the school was Prof. Dr. Ashiq Hussain Cheema, who is an eminent Veterinary Pathologist. After Prof. Cheema obligations of Principal were offered to another Veterinary Pathologist Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus in 2010. 

The College involves five noteworthy offices offering a five year DVM degree program. The new grounds of CVAS, scattered more than 100 sections of land (0.40 km2) in two squares, Academics Block and Clinical Veterinary Hospital at a site found 12 km Chiniot Road, Jhang close Chenab College, Jhang. The scholarly, research and supporting administrations squares, dairy and poultry homesteads, preparing units for milk, meat and food, Clinical Centrum for all species, libraries, assembly hall, sports offices and homes are all being worked on. 

The Degree projects are perceived by Pakistan Veterinary Medical Council (PVMC).

The College offers a 5-year Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and 4-year BS Honors programs in Applied Microbiology and Poultry Sciences. Postgraduate projects are offered in 10 disciplines.
